Dr. Mendiola completed medical school at University of Texas Medical School at Houston. He completed family medicine residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of St. Thomas in Biology.
Dr. Mendiola grew up in Houston, but is originally from Havana, Cuba. He speaks both English and Spanish. He is married, a father of 4 and proud grandfather to 1. In his off time he enjoys travel, fishing and exercise.
Dr. Mendiola has in treating patients with both acute and complicated chronic conditions in the Houston Heights / North Houston for 30 years.

Priscilla Mann, FNP, is a trusted Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 10 years of healthcare experience. She provides comprehensive family care with a strong focus on chronic disease management and preventive health. Priscilla is bilingual in English and Spanish, allowing her to communicate clearly with a diverse patient population. She believes that communication and trust between provider and patient lead to better outcomes, and she strives to ensure every patient feels supported and understood.
In her off time, Priscilla enjoys traveling and trying new foods, which inspires her curiosity and passion for experiencing different cultures
Lisa Cruz is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the Texas Board of Nursing. She earned both her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing degrees from The University of Texas- Houston, Cizik School of Nursing. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Nutrition from the University of Houston, as well as a MBA from Belhaven University’s Houston campus.
A native Houstonian, Lisa grew up in the Greater East End District and continues to remain closely connected to her community, where much of her family still resides. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and is dedicated to treating her patients as if they were part of her own extended family. Lisa strives to provide thorough examinations, listens attentively, and provides comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient’s needs, with a focus on improving overall quality of life and well-being.
Outside of work, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, traveling, cooking, and exploring Houston’s vibrant food scene.
